1. Don’t Smoke

Smokers are likely to be more vulnerable to COVID-19 as the act of smoking means that fingers (and possibly contaminated cigarettes) are in contact with lips which increases the possibility of transmission of the virus from hand to mouth. As a result, the virus is more easily reproduce and cause more damage to the airways and lungs. Sleep and immunity are going hand in hand. Enough sleep can foster the production of T cells in the body. T cells are a group of immune cells that play an important role in the immune system against viruses. T cells will attack and destroy virus-carrying cells. According to the CDC adults should aim to get 7 or more hours of sleep each night, while teens need 8-10 hours and younger children and infants up to 14 hours

3. Stay hydrated

Hydration may not prevent you from germ or virus, but drinking enough water is extremely important to keep your body healthy. Healthy hydration levels also can help your nose by maintaining the mucous membrane and decreasing irritation when coughing, sneezing and even just breathing. As a general guideline, you should drink when you’re thirsty and stop when you’re no longer thirsty. You may need more fluids if you exercise intensely or live in a hot climate

4.Minimize stress

Uncontrolled stress can increase the production of the hormone cortisol. In the long run, an increase in the hormone cortisol can cause a decrease in immune function. You need to manage stress well to avoid decreasing immune function. If you are stressed, confused and afraid, talking about your feelings with people you know and trust can help. 5.Consume high in fruits and vegetables

Healthy immune system warriors need good and regular nourishment. Eating vegetables and fruits is quite important because they contain antioxidants. The antioxidants help reduce inflammation by combatting unstable compounds called free radicals, which can cause inflammation when they build up in your body at high levels.

6. Take steps to avoid infection

The primary way to prevent infection is to practice good hygiene habits. Always wash your hands after handling something. Avoid touching the face and always practice the proper coughing and sneezing etiquette.
