So this is your last day in Bali and—because of too much time spent on a scooter instead of walking—you have no idea where to buy Bali souvenir. Well, no worries. You’ve come to the right place because we have five recommended places to buy unique gifts from Bali. But if you’re in Ubud, just take a look for the traditional art market Ubud where you can directly find beautiful gifts!
The Keranjang Bali
The architecture of The Keranjang Bali is jaw-dropping. It is perhaps the only building in Indonesia whose exterior looks like a shopping bucket commonly found at the supermarket.
You can find everything here, from a cafe, spa, art theater, skypark, and, of course, a shopping center where you can buy unique gifts from Bali. The Keranjang is situated on Jalan By Pass Ngurah Rai No. 97, Badung. It is open every day (Mon-Friday, 8.30 am – 11 pm; Sat-Mon, 8 am – 11 pm).
Agung Oleh-Oleh Bali
Although mostly targetting tourists traveling in a group, Agung Oleh-Oleh Bali basically caters to every kind of travelers. It is a one-stop gift shop where you can buy various kinds of stuff, from “VIP shirts,” snacks, handicrafts, etc.
Agung has four shops which are located in Tanah Lot (two stores), Sunset Road, and Jalan Dewi Sri. The shops are open every day from 8 am to 10 pm.
Krisna Oleh-Oleh Bali
Popular among Indonesians, Krisna offers a range of gifts from Bali which can be purchased at a really reasonable price. The shop is comfortable as supermarkets in general as you can choose whatever things without being bothered by the keepers.
When it was launched on 2007, Krisna has only one shop on Jalan Nusa Inda No. 77 Denpasar. Now, there are four other shops, namely on Jalan Nusa Kambangan No. 160A, Denpasar; Jalan Sunset Road No. 88 Abian Base, Kuta; Jalan Raya Tuban No. 2X; dan Jalan Raya Seririt, Singaraja.
Hawaii Bali Oleh-Oleh
If you’re staying near Tanjung Benoa, GWK, or Uluwatu—or on your way to the airport—you can visit Hawaii Bali Oleh-Oleh before going home, as it is located on Jalan By Pass Ngurah Rai No. 28x, Tuban.
As with other gift shops, it has various souvenirs, food, etc. with cheap fixed price. It is daily open from 8 am to 11.30 pm.
Erlangga Bali
Erlangga is one of the pioneers of the modern gift/souvenir market in Bali. As with Krisna, Erlangga has everything, from traditional Balinese fabric/clothes, t-shirt, udeng, keychain, food, etc.
Now Erlangga has two shops which are situated rather closely. Erlangga 1 is located on Jalan Nusa Kambangan No. 28B, Denpasar. Erlangga 2 is on Jalan Kambangan No. 162 Denpasar. They are open every day from 8 am to 22 pm.
So jump on your scooter and find one of those gift shops!
