There’s an old proverb: ‘nothing new under the sun.’ However, it doesn’t apply to Canggu which, in fact, is under the sun. There will always be something new in Canggu, such as these 5 newest beach clubs:

The Lawn

Perhaps it is one of the most stunning lawns you’ll ever see. Beside a patch of grass on the beachfront, The Lawn has an infinity pool surrounded by many parasols. There are several venues as well at which you can have lunch or dinner or simply hang out drinking cocktails with your pals.
Overlooking the ocean on Jalan Pura Dalem, Batu Bolong, The Lawn is one of the most perfect places for enjoying the sunset in Canggu. However, the club will be more packed on Fridays as from 7 pm-11 pm there are Happy Hours when you can have a 50% discount for some food and beverages. There’s also jazz music every Tuesday.

La Brisa

If you aren’t barefoot, then you are overdressed 😎🌴🌊🐚 @labrisabali

Launched in late 2017, La Brisa on Jalan Pantai Batu Mejan, Echo Beach, offers an authentic tropical ambience. Unlike any other beach clubs, this one doesn’t need parasols. Tens of coconut trees shade the area. On the sands, colourful beanbags are spread.
La Brisa becomes more enchanting several hours before sunset. As the light worn out—and your belly is getting warmer thanks to the cocktails—the classic light bulbs which look as if they were taken directly from Thomas Alva Edison’s garage will be turned on, making the scene more romantic. When hungry, you can order the signature Spanish delicacies.

COMO Beach Club

The traditional ‘surf shacks’ of COMO Beach Club has joined the Canggu scene since February 2018. Though you can go there anytime between 7 am to 11 pm, the best time to visit COMO Beach Club is on the afternoon when the sun is about to leave its throne.
In addition to eclectic mouth-watering food and cocktails, what makes people love COMO Beach Club is the music—live acoustic and techno music. It is located on Jalan Pantai Batu Mejan, Echo Beach.

Finns VIP Beach Club

2 for 1 on selected cocktails. Join us for happy hour. 7PM-9PM daily 🍸⠀ ⠀ @cath_n248310⠀

Since the reopening on August, Finns VIP Beach Club on Jalan Pantai Berawa has been compared to other chic beach clubs in town, namely Ku De Ta and Potato Head. However, this beach club has what others don’t—the famous Berawa surf break. Hanging out at Finns’ feels like watching a surf competition.
However, as indicated by the name, Finns VIP Beach Club is rather luxurious. If you’re travelling on a tight budget, you’re going to be upset when retrieving the receipt. But if money is not a problem, visiting Finns VIP Beach Club will be a story to tell.

just another day in paradise. #tropicolabali

Operating since August, this is the newest, coolest kid from the block. People are still talking about it and hordes of crowds are still coming only to take selfies. So in order to get a good spot for enjoying the sunset, go there early.
From the shoal, Tropicola looks like a modern, minimalist oasis without date trees and camels. As the afternoon comes, techno music played by the DJ will fill the air and the scene will be more festive. It’s a piece of cake to find Tropicola as it is perched on Jalan Pantai Batu Belig No. 5.

So which one do you want to visit first?
