Paon Bali


It is arguably one of the most authentic cooking classes in Bali. Paon means kitchen. You’ll be taught how to cook at a Balinese community village kitchen. The cooking class also involves a market visit and paddy-field expedition.

The morning class at Paon Bali begins at 8.30 am and the afternoon class at 3.30 pm. The price is quite reasonable, starting from IDR 350,000/person. Paon Bali is situated on Jalan Raya Laplapan, Petulu.

Lobong Culinary Experience

Bumbu Bali Cooking Class


Since all of the guides have been trained by one of the Balinese nobility, what you’ll learn from your mentor is surely authentic. At Bumbu Bali, you’ll learn how to cook Balinese from the basic, from how to make spices/seasonings, the main dishes (such as opor ayam Bali or sate lilit ayam or tahu guling telor), to desserts (dadar gulung, pisang goreng, Bali pancake, etc).
