Amed beach is very popular amongst divers and snorkelers as there are multiple bays and inlets full of coral and marine life.Amed is a 14 km stretch of coast on the north-eastern tip of Bali, incorporating the villages of Amed, Jemeluk, Bunutan, Lipah, Selang, Banyuning and Aas. Not easily accessible by road until after 2000, Amed is the perfect place to escape for some peace and quiet surrounded by stunning scenery.

Just up the coast, in Tulamben, is the wreck of the US Liberty which was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in 1942 and is now a world renowned dive site.

Amed has a host of accommodation and dining options and has bloomed into a tourist hub in its own right. The area now provides yoga and cooking courses, fishing trips, dolphin watching, temple tours, trekking, massages, paddle boarding, freediving and more.

Located just 3 hours up the coast of Bali, you will not regret taking a trip to see a quieter part of the island.
