The word Jembrana came from two words: “Jimbar” and “Wana” which literally means “lush jungle”. West Bali has a total area of 840.000 square meters which hides countless beautiful hidden spots waiting to be explored.

Juwuk Manis Waterfall is located in the very village of Manggisari. It takes more than 900 steps back and forth to reach this waterfall. This waterfall is still unknown from tourists which allow you to enjoy the serenity of nature and fresh water. And those wanting to have cardio exercise!

  1. Dewasana Roses Peak

This is one of the newest tourist destinations perched high up in Dewasana village peak hill located in the Pendem Village. The rose peak hill has the shape of a dragon’s head. On top of it, you will find a giant rose statue. This is a very instagramable place with many interesting selfie spots and a spectacular view of the surrounding nature.

Located over the Gelar river, a unique wooden suspension bridge renowned as « The Bridge of Love » has been built. This location is famous among locals as the river is supposed to be one of the most pristine ones in Bali and is surrounded by rural area and beautiful plantations. Standing here, a monument has been erected to respect Bali’s heroes who died during the Dutch colonialism.

Perancak is one of the most famous areas in West Bali as gathers both a mangrove forest and a beautiful beach on the same spot. Far from the city’s hustle, you will find there Kurma Asia, a turtle conservation center which can be a very interesting place for educational tourism and to get to know more about sea turtles’ lives.

This village has gained notoriety thanks to the Perancak’s unique fisherman boats and Balinese percussion instruments « Jegog Mebarung » that are very particular to this region of Bali.

This place is not only famous for its beauty but for its curing properties, it is said to possess. Taking a bath in this beach is believed to cure few illnesses such as arthritis and rheumatic. Enjoy the ray of sunset coming through the coconut trees that beautifully lining up on this beach.
